Glory Church Thailand

What We Do and What We're All About
Glory Church is a small assembly fellowship established in 1990 by Korean missionaries and now grown to about 50 Christians.  The work was first set up to help Leper families who were often forced to sell their children into prostitution because they could not afford to support them.

Glory Church is our partner Church in Bangkok Thailand, established for the many younger men and women in the area who attend the big University. They also seek to reach out to the community around them with English classes and kendo club.

Who is it For
For Primary and High School students studying at local schools in Ngao and tertiary students in Bangkok studying at the nearby English speaking Ramkhamhaeng University and staying at the hostels provided in each location.

Where
Ramkhamhaeng in Bangkok and in Ngao near Lampang Thailand.

What makes it tick?
Glory church in Bangkok is part of small network of churches in Thailand.  Te Awamutu Bible Chapel supports the Glory church and provides support for the workers and 2 children in the Nago Church hostel, which is part of this network. This hostel gives an opportunity for children from poorer backgrounds to attend school and live in a supportive Christian environment. As part of our support we have Gee from Glory Church at our Te Awamutu Chapel at the moment. He is in NZ to further his bible study and English skills.
